Cell Phone Cases and Cell Phone Faceplates are useful accessories for a number of reasons.  firstly, if you drop your phone, the only thing that should get damaged is the case, but obviously this depends on the quality of the case along with how and where the phone got into an accident. Regarding the faceplates, if you are unfortunate to break a the façade, back of your phone, or just spill something on or scuff the cover thus ruining the cosmetic appearance of it, a simple replacement faceplate will have it looking as good as new in a jiffy.  But a word of warning about Samsung. Samsung are perhaps the hardest mobile phone company to get replacement covers for, unlike Nokia where you can pop into just about any high street store and get most modern models sorted out in minutes.
