One of the most influential pop icon of all time, Janet Jackson was born to be a performer. She is the youngest among the Jackson family of entertainer. She was born as Janet Damita Jo Jackson on May 16, 1966 at Gary, Indiana. She was raised among with her siblings at Encino, California. She started her career as a singer and actress at an early age, 7 and  ten respectively. She had made her mark in the music industry despite being the sister of pop superstar Michael Jackson.  Janet receive  a large number of awards and honors from both her singing and acting career.
