Eczema and psoriasis are two dreaded skin diseases. Although psoriasis develops more scaly skin compared to eczema, neither of the two are desirable. The root of these diseases is still unknown for today. What made known are characteristics usually shared by individuals suffering from these skin disorders. One of the angles being looked into is the hereditary aspect of psoriasis and eczema. Experts believe these could have run in the bloodline. The chance of having psoriasis and eczema is more likely when there has been history in the family to have acquired these skin diseases. Psoriasis and eczema are common among Caucasian people, while less among dark people and those living in the tropical region. These provide reasonable ground that climate and natural surrounding have a significant impact in having these diseases. When it comes to both sexes, male and female, psoriasis and eczema have a natural inclination toward women. This fact suggests the idea of hormonal differences of the two. Psoriasis and eczema also strikes on the onset of adolescence.
