Microdermabrasion Results

Friday, May 16th, 2008

Microdermabrasion is a safe skin treatment especially for acne scars, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, treating acne, scarring, reducing sun and age spots, and improving pore size but fine lines under the eyes are very hard to treat.

Microdermabrasion is a good way to improve the freshness of skin and remove dead skin cells, but for deeper wrinkles or scarring, it has limitations. Microdermabrasion leaves your skin smooth and clean with slight temporary redness. Blackheads are loosened, white heads may empty, dark sunspots lighten, acne scars, enlarged pores and fine wrinkles become less prominent.

Microdermabrasion sessions can be scheduled be performed on a regular basis to maintain good results. Microdermabrasion addresses skin irregularities, but is not effective against all complexion problems including redness, flushing and broken capillaries. Microdermabrasion uses tiny crystals of aluminum oxide to gently remove tissues from the deeper layers of skin.

Black Skin Care

An article about black skin care.

When I think of black skin care, I tend to think more on the male side. This is what I’m used to and have been exposed to through friends. Probably the largest issue that comes to mind regarding black skin care in my opinion is shaving. I had no idea it was so tough for black men to grapple with the daily scruff. However, I soon learned otherwise. In college I noticed that a couple of my closest friends had terrible razor bumps. I didn’t really know why this was.

I hardly ever got razor bumps or ingrown hairs. And if I did, it would only be like one or two at the most. I hopped on the web at my college for a little information on black skin care and shaving. I soon discovered that black men have much curlier and courser whiskers than other races. Shaving can cause them to curl up beneath the skin’s surface and cause razor bumps.

Acne Cure and Treatment Using Natural Remedies

Monday, June 11th, 2007

Perhaps the one of the main factors in acne infections is an imbalance of hormones. When this occurs excess sebum oil is produced, which hardens and plugs up the pore. The blocked pore then ends up serving as pool where bacteria can multiple and expand. The deeper the infected pore grows the more chance of cysts and scars to form.
