They are the same as a bike or regular skates, and even skateboards. All it will take is one tiny pebble to throw them down to the ground. If they have padding they will be better protected. At the very least, they should have some sort of bike helmet. They might not think its cool, but they aren’t going to feel very cool lying in the emergency room with a banged up head. Though I understand some children must take bangs and bumps as they grow, the skate shoes are tricky, and a little prevention wont hurt anyone.
