Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

While getting too nervous after hearing that, thinking it was most probably my brother, my mother asked for my brother with his name, hoping to confirm, and the crying one answered himself loudly and asking for desperate immediate helps again in the background.

The “person-in-charge” called twice rapidly and eventually speaking on the phone for ransom. Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

“I ask you therefore, will you love her, honor and keep her and be faithful to her so long as you both shall live?”A Wedding Coordinator shouted through the plane’s radio to the groom. The couple exchange their vows 1,000 ft above the ground. Special microphones relayed the ceremony to Rendcomb Airfield near the English city of Cirencester — 90 miles west of London — where the wedding guests were waiting.

Groom Darren McWalters, 24, flew by her side on an identical plane, while Rev. George Bringham flying ahead of the couple married them over an airborne communications system. How romantic isn’t it?

Safety Tips For Kids on School Trips

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

Not all of our children will have the opportunity to take such a wonderful vacation like the one that Natalee Holloway took. Most school trips will be to local museums or places of historical interest. However, danger can lurk around even the most boring of corners and there is never a bad time to teach our children to be cautious about their surroundings. At any age, children should always have a buddy or remain in a group when on school trips. A child who wanders off on their own is more likely to vanish or get lost from their own misdirection. Staying in a group is a deterrent for anyone who is looking for a victim. Even if the group of kids gets lost, there is still safety in numbers.
