Air Hogs Make A Nice Christmas Gift

Filed under: Children, General, Gifts, Shopping — Tags: — neddagostino @ 5:39 pm

Every year it seems Air Hogs are a favourite Christmas gift. And there is a sensible reason for that. Every child I think has dreamed of being able to fly. Those thoughts will turn into somewhat of a reality with this wonderful toy. The truth is that children love Air Hogs because they’re fun. Parents also like them. Not simply because they’re fun, but because they need no assembly.

The radio controlled, feather-light and air-powered flying Air Hogs have models for beginners to more advanced users. These prize winning products are regularly being released in several models. Some info on the more well-liked models follows.

If you are looking for somewhat little that’s big on delivering fun, then have a look at the Air Hogs Havoc Heli. It’s one of the tiniest RC helicopters within the world. This very little helicopter moves so well as a result of of it’s size. For the young radio-controlled helicopter user, the Havoc Heli is ideal. It’s so easy for beginners to use that it’s even rated for in the house use.

Intermediate users (for those over 10) can relish the cutting-edge flying style of the Air Hogs Switchblade. It dashes vertically, soaring like a helicopter. But once you push the Morph button on the remote control, this helicopter becomes a stunt flying plane. That’s simply one illustration of the type of fun innovation the company is known for.

For the definitive all-terrain machine you need to look at the Storm Launcher. When you need a vehicle that may move about on water, air or land, this is often the one. The Storm Launcher should only be used by children age ten and up and should solely be used outside. Compared to it’s scale, the company says this one can reach speeds of 205 MPH.

But don’t limit yourself to just these three. The company has made dozens of models over the years, some of which are not in production. Whether retired or not, any vehicle you give or get for a gift, you’ll see why this exciting series of toys is one of the most well liked Christmas toys for 2009.

You’ll find an entire list of the top 10 toys for Christmas, including the popular Play and Freeze Ice Cream Maker by going to Top10ToysForChristmas.net.

Uncommon Honesty About Work Boots For Men

Being a guy who has worked all of his life in the field, from commercial fishing, to shipyards, to heavy highway construction, I feel at ease providing a little advice on my experiences with work boots for men. I have worn several different brands, and being a larger guy I perpetually had trouble finding a work boot that was comfortable and would hold out and maintain its waterproofing for more than a couple of months.

For me comfort was continually the main element that I required. If my feet hurt during the day, it was all over. I was miserable. That is no way to give the corporation you toil for 100%.

Polymer Clay Christmas Ornaments Project

I began my search for some polymer clay christmas ornaments in our local hobbies and crafts store. I was quickly overwhelmed with the many items and different colors of clay so maybe the best place to start would have been a book or a magazine that would outline the details of such a project.

There were many publications on the subject but none looked as if they were for beginners. I hate admitting that I am a beginner with any craft but the clay polymer project had me running round in circles not least because I was looking for Christmas table decorating ideas at the same time, which was probably a bit of a mistake.

I was thinking that the whole process was far too involved and intimidating for me and maybe I should just give up before investing any more time and stick to some shop bought decorations. Read the full article to find out what happened.

Beware of Cheap Wood Floors!

Filed under: Beauty, Furniture, Home, Real Estate, Shopping — kimbo @ 2:26 am

Here;s a piece of valuable advice for folks looking to do a few home improvements on the cheap. Beware of Cheap Wood Floors! Oh they might look nice in the display area of your local hardware or DIY store, but that’s for 2 reasons. 1) they haven’t experienced any wear & tear yet! This is just as well because they don’t stay looking fresh for long once the family starts to run across, drop and spill food, beverages, and other substances onto their fragile surfaces. And 2) There is nothing to compare them with. If you were to put a display floor next to the cheapo surface, it would be so obvious which one was quality. Looks better, feels better, lasts longer, and won’t need replacing for years to come.

Although it’s tempting to go shopping for cheap wooden or wood lookalike floors, it really is a false economy in the long term. Now that doesn’t mean you won’t find some great floor products at affordable prices, because there are often discount sales held on quality woods, but beware the difference between discount and cheap. Cheap is always cheap and for good reason, whereas discount used to be costly but has been reduced for reasons such as seasonal or closing down sales, or to make way for new stock. Make your wood floor a home improvement not a home deterioration project. Real natural hardwoods really do last and bring beauty into your living spaces.
